Since yesterday evening, I can't receive or make calls from my phone, inspite of the fact that it keeps showing me full network, and i can send n receive sms' and that stupid Airtel Live thing is also working.It starts working the moment i step out of my colony and keeps working when i get back in but once it gets disconnected then it's gone!!It's just acting wierd, wierd wierd!! I've called up their customer care, that too from a landline cause i cudnt even get thru to them, and each time they've said it's a temporary congestion problem which will b ok within 2 hours and it's been aleast 10 hours since i last called them n it's just the same... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. i'm so frustrated with them!!and i don't noe wat to do!just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping against hope that it'll work soon!
Update : It's working now!Yipee :)

oh ya Airtel is that brilliant network that is shut off completely on sundays :)) customer care ppl say (after the usual welcome bhashan) they're sorry they cant help u because the network is completely down on sundays. Somehow i find it extremely amusing.

Once upon a time I never had a cell and it never really mattered.
And the other day I had left my charger at office and the whole weekend my cell was band...I felt completely disconnected from the world!
Now I am keeping away from the lure of the evil credit card....lemme see how long i survive

dont worry neha it wont last forever even i have got a prob with ma airtel...it shows full signal but is lost in between sometimes....
hey poor neha. but im more worried abt d Telecom Companies they must hv lost out on so much of revenue.I suppose there was a problem wid ur phone for arnd 2 days, means 48 hrs and loss of atleast 30 hrs of talktime to all the cos considering both ur incoming and outgoing calls. 30 hrs means 1800 minutes and if we apply d airtel rate of Rs.2 per minute it amts to a loss of arnd
Rs 3600 in just two days.If u dont use ur phone for arnd a month just like in d vacations wen u were not in town, they'll suffer a loss of arnd Rs 54,00. If d Airtel people realize this fact u wont hv any network problems. Its a huge loss for our economy yaar if d phones of people like u dont work.Hope our GDP doesnt nosedive cos of ur Network Problems;)
I'm so pissed off with AIRTEL too...GPRS is quite satisfatory...but the marketing dept sucks
I was getting so many SMS about free ringtones and SMS quiz that one day I called up there Customer Care and told them about all this crap...also I requested them to stop sending me as Im least interested in winning money by sending stupid SMS....on which that bugger replied, sir we cant totally block it, but we'll trynna reduce..
I disconnected the call and lo...2 sms in 12 sec

If u're unfamiliar with Mumbai, it's on the pathetic central railway line (don't ask more!!)... I come to work by bus (p.s. I am at work.. hehe).. Bhandup just happens to be en route to my office.. To answer your Hutch related question, I'm pretty neutral to my cellphone network, as in.. sometimes it's very good, sometimes it makes me wanna fling the damn phone outta the window..
Not feeling so happy now, are you?? And I was feeling bad about the pathetic MTNL network I've got in Bombay..
still airtel's one of the best we have...

@The Monk, well u noe till this happened to me i was all praise for airtel. i used to tell everyone how wonderful their broadband connection was.. and usually it's pretty decent.. this is probably just a one off case but it was totally frustrating..

Even me Hate my Airtel now.Got 4 calls from customer care tellin me to Convert my SIM from Prepaid to Postpaid.
The worst part is that i was using it in roaming and was not aware that they charge even for Customer Care phoones during Roaming :(

so now downtimes no image eating too much bandwidth probs
but in he end of the day wordpress costs you
not that you have to pay for wordpress
it is totally free you would need to pay for a domain name and web space
although that is become quite cheap these days
for 400-700 rs you have your own web space with your own domain name
anyways thats all i can say about wordpress

create a account there but thwn there too you dont get exclusive rights to the blog
but atleast you can taste wordpress

For some reason I have always had extremly weird experiences with Mobile services. When i was in Pune, for some reason all my incoming calls were barred while outgoing was on as usual.
Now, in Mumbai My Hutch card stopped working when i changed my cell. And after i got a new Hutch card , voila, it was working again.

I have 2 reliance numbers.. One is a GPRS and other is Dhirubhai...
Comes evening and both of them get jammed...
As a matter of fact I dont know how many of us know , government also has a CDMA mobile called as TARANG.. It is however concentrated in remote GRAMEEN areas. The set is of the size of a mini rocket... I have one kept at my factory which is too far from city... But BOY.... It catches network everywhere.. Its like a satellite phone.. Only problem is the KILLER LOOKS it has got..
