I still haven't found what I'm looking for...

Most of my posts have been depressing recently...I just feel so frustrated and angry all the time..irritable, pick on things constantly...get angry at the traffic, at people at anything!! I feel like I';m jus going through the motion...days r jus passing by... and I;m not doing anything... not doing anything that I want to... not looking forward to anything, nothing exciting...Just have a dull and bored feeling all the time.. I don't know what to do... I don't feel like blogging, don't feel like reading, dont feel like replying...jus do not want to do anything...

I don't know why I'm writing all of this here.. jus don't know where else to pour it out..

Hey,
Heard of the story about that magic ring that makes the happy wearer forget his joy and the broken-hearted wearer forget his sorrows? Actually it was just a plain golden ring with three words inscribed on the gold band :Gam zeh ya'avor" -- "This too shall pass.

So stay calm and things shall get better very soooon.....

*Sigh* You're definitely not alone. I've been feeling this way for the past few weeks and I have no idea why because I have many exciting things to look forward to in the coming months. I think the only method to deal with this feeling is to just let it go on and on till something catches your attention. ;) Obviously, you can't do anything else. :P

@ Neha: ok this is very good thing happening to you. Probably you cant see it coming. It just shows your un-happyness for the current environment..
You will have some big chnage soon in your life, which would make you happier. But this chnage will have to be brought about by you.
You need .. some love and affection.. Go cuddle up with you mom .. or maybe your GUY of some of your girlfriend, who will not advice you or tell you jazz ,,,... who would just bee there beside you listeneing !!!!

:))relaxo.."this too shal pass.." like verything else has in life..

@ ALL THE Rest FOLKS be postive.....what have all of u been telling this budding lawyer!!!!
cheeer up all.. lifes better....
check out some of my ONE liners...

dont know what you are looking for ? nothing new if you look around - most of the junta around is living a meaningless trivial life - they are nothing but temporary carbon lifeforms.

Btw, trying to find a meaning to existence is a very crucial step .. keep up to it, cause the "purpose" you are looking for is just a step away ... you bothered to pause and think about it, people dont .. good !

I once read that the body
works in three cycle...

inertia - when you simply
can't do anything - can barely
get out of bed - it is as if
your are dormant with no energy
or desires...

activity - the body is in a state
of high energy - you are filled
with excess energy and
have loads of ideas and want to
do it all - embrace everything-
explore the four corners of
our beautiful world...

and then there is

balance - a perfect state between
the two!!!

i myself am in a state of inertia
(feeling sad about love)
so i am purposely filling my
days with activity but it is
forced - i would rather curl
up and hide:)

smiles!!!!

Everyone goes thru this phase. Sit back, relax, and then figure out why. You should find the answer yourself. Actually you may already know the answer.

Reading the comments, not too many people are happy, are they? Interesting. Not in a sadistical way, of course. :p
I think, like you rightly said, it has got to do with one doing what one WANTS to do. If you continue doing it, you shall not feel depressed-

Everyone posts this same entry at some point of time...
But knowing that you won't stop is a sure sign that you're not going to run out of ideas or going to get tired of your mundane life where everything that peeks at you has the same dull boring expression...

Cheer up! & err... My blog's full of depression too.. Lol..

How do we know said...

Neha: Am sure you have a lot of empathy from the comments here, and boy! Does one need it at such times.. however,I will also give u my magic potion for this lethargy. At such times, my survival instincts spring up, and send me to this line:
Tum Besahaara ho to kisi ka sahaara bano,
Apne aap tum ko sahaara mil jayega...

meaning, one goes out and does one thing to help another person each day. Just one, to be useful in the world, lethargy notwithstanding.
It usually helps! :-)

there is a saying "you can get what you want... but can not want what you want" ... it has a deep meaning ... simply put - we see things and desire, however we really don't know what appeases us... at the end of the day what we look forward to is a peace of mind and that happens only doing what you love to do, loving you what you love... discarding the environment and "what will he/she say" thing in our mind...
i know it's easier said than done as i also face this situation quite often these days... one of the reason i realized was trying to understand the life rather than living it... (trying to be or enforced to be wise & mature before the age!) ... try to do things you'd love to do ... slowly ... one by one... i hope it'll bring some solace!
PS: that was long... but bloggin' is one way to release stress... (i do)...

The rebel inside a person always needs attention.happens a lot of times.

Sometimes leading a boring life requires more courage than fire-fighting.

I think you are at the juncture where you realise life is about routine, for most of us.

Cheer up

"days r jus passing by... and I;m not doing anything"

Oh, I know that feeling. It's the thought that 'one day I'll wake up, I'll be 30, and I'll still not have done anything', that's what really scares me.

First of all, I am back twin sister. Looks like you have lots of pent up anger in you. I guess it's far better to pour it in your blog rather than pouring on some hapless creature. Or you can listen to metal. All i'll say it's not abnormal.
Keep posting!
