Hard day..
No matter how hard you try, its impossible to come upto people's expectations. You will constantly live with a guilt of not having done enough. Is it fair to yourself? Or is it just better to forget everything else and keep yourself happy..The brickbats are always going to be there while the bouquets will be rare..

fewer bouquets means, we appreciate them more whenevr they come along :-)

Its hard to come up to the expectations of those whom we r close to...but take it d other way..they hv such high expectations from u cos they think u cn fulfill them..n may b cos u hv exceeded their expectations in d past..n u dont hv to feel guilty if u'v done ur best..jus try to make d other person understand tat u did ur best in d circumstances..n im sure tat person wil understand..but if u dont communicate it to tat person n dnt make tat person aware of d circumstances how wuld he/she know..agreed tat if u r close to someone, known tat person for a long time..u also expect tat he/she shuld understand certain things widout u telling them expressly or giving any explanation for ur conduct but there r times whn u hv to give explanations its not posible 4d other person to understand all d time..or may be tat person knows n understands but jus needs some reassurance or some nice words 4m u..one jus needs to change one's perspective, i guess....hey tis comment must be thrice d size of d post;-)take care..keep rambling:-)

we can only try to work towards perfection...
so agree with u...sometimes expectations can be a burden and just constantly trying to live upto these expectations can be tiring!
u wont belive..but abhi i am feeling exactly the same way..i am burning actually..! dunno wats right n wrong..!
unlucky is the person who knows what he/she wants ;) For he/she always knows how far one still needs to go.
