So why is this special? Because this is probably the only time in my life that I've written a poem and gotten an A .lol.. I'm really bad at writing poems.. This one was written in 7th standard and I have it preserved till date, I'm quite an archiver ;)
Another thing I discovered was a song, total nonsensical crappy song I wrote once (the only time actually :) ) I still remember the tune..
Well here's how it goes.. yeah get ready to throw the eggs and tomatoes.. :P
Oh and before I present it, I would like to state that it is not written for anyone or any situation. This was just the influence of the kind of English songs I used to hear at that time (9th standard i think..) and mushy crap that I must've seen then.

Lol..there's still a bit left but I can't go on.. it's just sooooooooooooooo silly! Well I just thought it was time for some entertainment.. so put it here ;) I don't know how could write that.. crazy memories of childhood.. :) Thank god it was the one and only song I wrote.. and noone ever got to hear it..lol. I think I must've realized myself how bad I was at this ;)
I've been out of touch with everyone for the past few days.. dunno wat I've been doing. Well exam time coming up soon so I hope to be back to full time blogging ;)

Well that was one helluva song. ;) I mean you actually had a tune to go wid it.I actually tried singing this one in a couple of ways but well I accept the defeat. Try to sing the song ,record it and then post the audio file. Will like to hear the tune ;)
that was kind of cute and silly..but then everyone gets bitten by the mush bug in their teens...ok..u might want to put a bullet in my head for this..but i must say i didn't quite like the new template :)..the older one was pretty rocking..but then it's my opinion..:)
childhood memories are so cute... hmmm..even i've had this experience of writing a song on christmas eve during my eighth standard... he he.. so silly of me.. i still , at times sing that song and start laughing. i do that also to irritate my brother and we both start laughing... funny memories
OH My gawd.. I have a very similar page of and extempore article written for my english class..
and my shock was the way "A" and "Well written" is commented...
to the extent I also had spelling mistakes marked... haha but they were more...

what a beautiful song. Trust me Neha, I have read many poems and songs from the people who claim that they are poets…but the poems really sucked…This is first time I am seeing a girl who says that she is not a poet and writes very bad…and comes up with a beautiful poem( well A grade tells everything). School days was the time when we used care nothing and did what we want with “who cares “ attitude. After we grow up we are affected with “ what others will think syndrome” and unknowingly kill the real self in us and become an artifical individual who is just …as you said..crap.
So shed that syndrome and why don’t you start writing again…Agreed you wont be able to give poems of Shakespeare caliber(did he wirte any poems…?) but down the lane after many years you will have exactly the same feeling which you had after seeing the poem of your school days

hey neha tell u wat nothin aint silly in writing..for example if u n me like a thing and u praise it in beautiful words n i jus write i like it, at the end of the day we both have the same feeling and words cant change it...so the feel is wat matters not the words..they come naturally..in ma view everyone is best for himself until he loses his thoughts..hope u dont..cheers!

Me thinks a sincere effort always triumphs..! and that poetry of yours is amazing! couldn't believe you wrote it when you were in 7th grade!! Hi Neha sorry for being out of touch. Been busy, you know the feeling. When I returned today, I found a big bag of surprise. First up, the template. It rocks. Then the poem. In that poem I found a sensitivity and depth that we look for in any poem.
I think too many of us tend to forget that blind people have totally different frames of reference. Example, we would describe a leaf just as green, a visually-challenged person may describe it as symmetrical, graceful and soft. To grasp this at a tender age itself is marvellous, keep up the good work.

Beautiful. Seventh standard. Exemplary class. Believe me! When I was in my seventh standard, I am not sure if you'd eat it but I'll say it nevertheless, I was not familiar with English. I got into an English speaking school and a person came forward and asked me, "What is your name?" and I stood there dumbfounded for a while. He stared intently while I looked lost. Why? Because I was wondering if I should say, "Sudhir" or "My name is Sudhir". That was me in my seventh standard. Tough to believe, eh? I know.
But tell you what? If you had written that poem now, and posted the same, I'd have said the same. "Beautiful". Lovely topic and a wonderful meaning to it. At 12 years. All I can do is shrug and tell you that you were brilliant.
And the second one? Now, that falls into the 'cute' class. I know how it hurts and the way you wrote it, it was cute. Nice post. :D
