I know my mom well enough to say that she'd be not one of those "slimy" MILs (if not the best!) ... but, I noticed that my wife has a prefixed notion on my mom... and she has a negative notion whether my mom does or does not do something / anything... Difficult to remove that bias...<br /><br />Same goes with Moms also... they have been brought up in an environment and their mental make up is of different school of thoughts... and that would be difficult to change.
